Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel rooms, although nice, were located in a dilapidated annex building, a long walk from reception, with poor lighting and some dust, which was a challenge for my dust allergies. The service was friendly and helpful, although the staff seemed overworked and thin on the ground. The location was beautiful and suited my needs, with a lovely garden and some nearby attractions. The dining experience had some satisfactory options, but overall, it was subpar. Facilities were standard.
The hotel is conveniently located near Northampton Town, making it a quiet and easily accessible choice for accommodation. While the presence of a transvestite at reception with inappropriate clothing was a negative aspect, the absence of motorway or dual carriageway noise from the south-east was a big plus.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location worked well for me due to nearby relatives, but the noisy front door area was a bit of a downside. The rooms in the annex were in need of updating, but the service was excellent and very friendly. The dining was enjoyable, and the facilities were good overall.
